Jamer Hunt collaboratively designs open and flexible programs that respond to emergent cultural conditions. He is the Director of the graduate program in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons The New School for Design and Visiting Design Researcher at the Institute of Design in Umea, Sweden. With Paola Antonelli at the MoMA he has collaborated on: MIND08: The Design and Elastic Mind Symposium (2008) and Headspace: On Scent as Design (2010). In 2013 they launched the award winning Design and Violence, an experimental online curatorial project that explores the relationships between creation, destruction, design and everyday experience. He is a Fast Company Expert Design Blogger and Huffington Post Blogger. His written work engages with the poetics and politics of the built environment and has been published in various books, journals, and magazines, including I.D. magazine, which published his Manifesto for Postindustrial Design.
