With the Industrial Design Program at The University of the Arts, coordinated a year-long process of community-based design in collaboration with members of the Hawthorne community and developers of an open space at 12th and Catharine Streets in Philadelphia. Empowered the community to have a role in designing a park that fit their needs, desires, and dreams. The process involved over 70 students, 10 faculty, and hundreds of community members. Park project is still moving toward completion with the support of the Philadelphia Horticultural Society.
